Mass Raids Gamemode#269

A concept similar to hunting grounds except with a whole new environment and enemies, instead of Quarks we would be fighting bandits. People equiped with weapons, tactics and technology that pose a much greater threat than quark swarms. There would be enemy Masses of varying designs, combat strength and role in the bandit base supplemented with assisting tanks, helicopters and another cool idea, junior Drone Masses, Masses smaller than the regular typically used for construction and logistics but can be armed in short moments to fight.

Attacking a Bandit base and well fighting them will be entierely different, you have enemies actively dodging and taking cover while coordinating attacks against you and your squad mates. They would have technology in place like jamming which disables the Mass long range lock on abilities forcing us to aim and use the skills we learnt when fighting Quarks and other Mass pilots. These raids may also turn into long battles of attrition to the point where you run out of ammo and energy, melee might not be viable for Ace enemies coordinating the battle against you.

Mass Raids missions would be much longer with many enemies requiring lots of ammo from HP size and purely dodging your attacks. Drones could fly over the battlefield and drop ammunition crates on places designated by short flares which can be opened by the player and can be destroyed too.

As for Map size, this could easily fit in the Mission 13 Worm boss map.
It would be very similar to the attack on torrington base in Gundam Unicorn, defense of Wyvern castle or attacking spirit of Mother Will

These raids, can done in solo with more players meaning a higher difficulty but more loot and not to mention that this can be done in reverse. Meaning that the enemy could be attacking us the players at a vital WDF structure like a residential bunker complex where Quarks could attack it or both Bandits and Quarks attack. Double the danger but double the fun and loot!

PVP and COOP loot drops should be the same with PVP loot drops having higher amounts with the victor taking the majority.

These bandit bases are a actual possibility too as they currentlly have the unknown means of preventing and causing the appearance of Quarks which has benefiited them greatlly with resources, territory and weapons for which they use on the WDF for there own purposes. While the WDF focus on the Quark threat, the bandits are overlooked which has allowed them to grow and quite possibly plot a evil plan in place for the WDF and non cooperative mercenary groups.

This post is asking for a lot but I really think it can happen in the future, the AI would need to be improved, brand new map layout, new enemies, the works, but as long as we keep supporting the game and devs we can do it.

If more love would come to ranged weapons, I would hope that we will have one of these raid battles on the ocean. We could fight enemy’s battleships. I would suggest an ammo refill buff for that level because we might probably engage with ranged weapons only
