Leg wheel module/frame [Helios]#600

A module that is a new main engine node which changes how you move and enables a fast paced playstyle with the addition of wheeled movement that would let you ground boost very quickly at the cost of having the mobility similar to that of Landspinners on Knightmares. Alongside a seperate option for leg armor part and frame changes/additions. The new engine node and aesthetic options can be used on all frames (Skeleton, Rex and Spider) and combinations (Helios node on Zephyr legs).

Just to clarify this is not a entire new frame idea like Rex or Spider

Module/Engine Main Node

This kind of movement on the ground would allow for a great flow in combat with weapon fire and swings not slowing the Mass down due to the motion provided by the wheels, its could be compared to horse jousting when using melee and horse archers for ranged.

I figure the wheels be activated on the ground and flight works when your in the air like jumping, so the transition from ground to air is smooth if your wheeling about. Shift would still be the normal activation bind. You could also rev up the wheels for a massive speed boosts to close in on enemies, its bind could be right click and shift, letting go would finish the rev. Base frame boost could look like AC surface gliding if there are no wheels or anything similar.

Frame/Armor

With how similar it is to the skeleton frame, something like this will could be implemented like landspinners from Code Geass. The armor parts used could be linked the heel armor parts, that is of course if the player enables the aesthetic which is a seperate option which is not tied to the module.

As for other frames like Rex and Spider. It could be implemented similar to that of the Ghedo Vakka. also from Code Geass, for the Spider frame. For the Rex frame, it could be added in like the Saturnix Gundam where the wheels are behind the legs or the heel is redesigned to integrate it.

So I was actually thinking about this, and why not divide it into two different categories.

Alternate walk/boost-cycles For frames and then just make the Wheel/footless/tread parts as armors for MASS. I feel like this would further add to player customization, so players could make cosplays like the Dom or Armored Cores without relying on specific parts to realize the look.

It has beed changed into that. The module Main Engine Node now changes movement with the aesthetic changes being a seperate option that is not restricted by what module you equip so you could cosplay as a Dom or Armored Core as shown above.

Persoanally I miss my treads. A big tanky Hammerfall rolling would be fun.
