Improved hangar space:
Having the hanger be more lively with people and machinery around makes it more interesting rather than just us being therer by ourselves, wheres the maintenance staff at? Making it like Kerbal Space Program’s hangar for example would be a vast improvement, people running about and machinery being used.

The option to customise the hangar is also appealing too, different layouts, colors, material etc. Having it customisable would be awesome, could make us feel more comfortable when spending hours designing our MASS.

would we get more than 32 hangars tho

Possibly, most likely will only happen once the game becomes more optimised.

So what is the cuirrent solution if I want to build more mechs? Do I simply backup the save game file from %appdata% and make new ones? and what does the new game button do, would that make a new company with new development tree, but would it still keep the current one as well?

Even just being able to change the lights in the hangar, that would give it a different vibe, so if you want more of a cold tone you could go with blue-ish lights
