Game does not save on new computer, manual save would be nice#885

I played the game in the past on my old computer and recently started using a new one. When I reinstalled the game from steam, I played a good 6 hours but none of it saved despite it using the same steam profile and save state from when I last played on my old computer.

Weirdly enough, it managed to save some setting changes I made on the new computer like my screen resolution but the mission progress/mech customization remains stuck from when I last played on the old computer. I have tried exiting to the main menu before closing, closing when still in the hanger, and even had a crash during one mission that was a few ahead of where I last was but none of them progressed the game state.

I have tried looking for the steam file on my new computer to try to manually replace it to see if it helps but not sure if I just can’t find it among all different drives and cloud/physical files or if it is just straight up missing hence why it won’t save.

A manual save option would be nice that would hopefully resolve this issue as I don’t want to have to download a third party save feature. I can’t play until this is resolved. Also I feel like this falls more under “Bug” but I didn’t see that tag here
