
The infinite spawning enemies in a boss fight are not fun. They are just a health tax that the player has to endur during the fight as there is no way to stop them.
If they must stay (as a source of ammo), we could have them spawn in finite waves, at specific Boss Hp %s. Then the player could opt to deal with them and get a brief respite, rather than being forced to ignore them and take random attacks the whole fight.
Basically, some kind of boss stage would be helpful for knowing when new mobs will spawn. Maybe make it part of the enemy scanner tuning?

I wonder if they exist for ranged players as a constant source of ammo. Might make an “ammo crate/health crate” suggestion as a remedy.
