Ranged weapon power/special attack#781

Didn’t want to bring up multiple things in one post so doing this one separate.

Melee weapons have power attacks/combos/ and the overdrive mode that are all amazing. and of course ranged weapon have huge advantages, but it would be really cool if there was something that would allow ranged weapons to have a sort of burst or special attack that charges up too. it could be unique to each weapon type and charge up similarly to the overdrive mode that melee uses. The other option is to also have a power attack that uses significantly more ammo than a normal attack, which would be good for taking down some of the big baddies xD

Energy launchers (drones) technically fill that role already.

True but the melee oriented builds can still use the drones as well so its not exactly something that ranged benefit from. While ranged is generally strong it does take a while to kill some of the big baddies and it would be cool to have some alternative specials that they can use.
