An issue I've seen with melee weapons.#768

Currently with melee weapons I’ve seen an issue where there is basically no point in using anything other than dual wielding sword style. They do the same damage and have the same attack speed as the other styles but it covers a much wider area than any other style I’ve seen. It pretty much makes all fuctionalities and combat stances obsolete. It’d be a pipeline thing but maybe make the functionality/stance work similar to how the barrel/buster works for ranged? I.e make dual wielding hit for less but faster attack speed, 2 handed weapons hit harder, and 1 handed is a middle ground. In the case of functionality maybe make knife faster but does less dmg, make halberd/mace do more dmg but is slower, have scythe with wider reach but does less dmg than halberd/mace but more than 1 handed weapons, making spear do more damage specifically on dash attacks etc etc. Just a thought since I’ve found that basically dual sword style is unfortunately the best style for melee as of this moment in the game.
