
I feel like the animation could use a little work, but the combat feels a little stale, and fighting the enemies makes it feel even more dry. Fighting on harder difficulties doesn’t feel harder it feels more annoying as everything just becomes a bullet spounge instead of becoming harder to fight, so instead of maybe reacting faster to your attacks, or punishing you for swinging randomly on harder difficulities they just kinda have more health and do more than 2 damage.
I also feel like the player should learn how to fight the enemy alone instead of having a giant indicator on the ground showing them when the attack is going to happen. It just kinda makes fighting them less fun if you know what their going to use maybe that could be toggled instead of always on if people want a harder challenge.

The game doesn’t have the technical superiority of something that would require a high skill ceiling, it just gets more difficult with no real workaround besides higher stats. There are no I-frames or dodging, no cover mechanic, and the level design usually has the enemies chase you like a horde of zombies so there’s no other way to fight them besides head-on. Enemies get tougher but the player can’t keep up in its current incarnation.
I’d rather have a game be easy instead of it being impossible.

True enough but I would at the very least like to toggle the attack indicators since they’re not only kinda distracting but also makes the combat a little less fun.
