Long Range Item Acquisition should be a passive ability.#67

Currently, Long Range Item Acquisition, aka the ability to just pick in items from a distance, is an ability tied to the Materials Collector upgrade, which has to be equipped under Tuning in order to be used. While the basic MASS does have the ability to pick up items nearby, its range is pitiful compared to the one that Materials Collector provides.

Given that Long Range Item Acquisition is arguably more a basic quality of life feature rather than a combat feature, I’d like to suggest that Long Range Item Acquisition be a passive unlocked by Materials Collector I, instead of being an active ability.

I would rather have this stay as module upgrade and instead increase the number of module slots. More damage/health/armor/shields or easier resource collection is an okay choice to make, I think.

Or maybe build this effect into a module that also gives additional benefits? Like have it give increased ammo capacity or faster weapon reloads as well as the item acquisition. Just make this module more useful in combat, therefore more attractive as an option to keep it equipped.
