Add an FPS cap to prevent 100% GPU utilization while on any of the menu screens.
The FPS cap in the settings also applies to all menus, in my experience. If it doesn’t it might be a bug.
@Zyrenica ZIS Can you provide a image of your GPU utilization while in the menu screens with your FPS cap in game set to like 60 or something. If its still going at 100%, ill relabel it as a bug.
In my testing, the FPS cap does apply to menus. On my end, I get something like 40-45% GPU usage in both the title screen and main hangar menu, according to Afterburner/RTSS.
Here’s my testing results, I understand the high usage while in a match, but while on the main menu with very little animating and in the hanger with only the mech showing, the usage is very high even with a reduced cap to 60. (I use 144 normally due to my screens refresh rate).
The cap does seem to take effect, (Which means I was wrong in my initial thoughts), but I feel the high usage with very little going on is still a problem. Though I do not know if there is anything that can be done about this based on how the game works.
You can mostly ignore the bar graph beneath as I didn’t reset it or leave it for very long before each screenshot… though you can probably tell where I swapped screens to take each one on the graph.

Rerunning the tests as I missed the 60 FPS cap part that you requested found two oddities as well. Starting the game fresh with a 60 FPS cap has a much lower FPS on the main menu (With the previous capture I went back to the main menu after being in the mech bay), and low while in a mission as well, but high usage on the mech bay.
