Being able to not only enjoy to build different M.A.S.S. during the game but also being able to have a way to share:
1- Share your M.A.S.S. giving the user the ability to share by file or cloud they’r creations
2 - Showroom / Gallery where as a builder i can share what i’v done with others
3 - Could be a funny way to use the number 2 suggestion as kinda contest hall and also highlight the best builds.
4 - Ability to create packs - Arm pakcs (where i can share a specific part of my M.A.S.S. to mix and match with other parts) also this packs can care over color schemes / textrues / decals

IMO, the game could benefit from having some kind of Steam Workshop integration for sharing builds indeed, which would make at least part of my manager obsolete.
But, Vermillion Digital plans to port the game to Switch, where Steam’s features are obviously unavailable, so sharing would either need to be dropped on that platform, or it would need to use another service instead of the Workshop.

William i do hope they don’t get the path of having a dependency of steam.
My point of view is they should do completly by themselves and have a kinda third party / social login (aka facebook / google) so with that credentials it will work over accross all the platforms.

The problem with an in-house solution is that it adds a whole infrastructure to create, update, and maintain as the game grows, which might be too much for such a small team to handle.
On the other hand, I don’t know if there are Workshop-like services that work across platforms. I know some games on Switch have sharing features for custom content, but I don’t know more about the backend they use.
third party / social login (aka facebook / google)
I’m not really into social logins, to be honest, and I recommend to avoid them as much as possible, because they often create more problems than they solve, from personal experience.
One way to do it would be to have their own login system, similarly to how Nomad Games’ Talisman does it.

Do agree it’s not a simple thing at all.
Had to read a lot before to be able to achieve something actually i was satyisfyed.
I will say yes it’s a big thing tbd but durrable as the long term.
Regarding the social logins long time i will say yes they create more problems them they fix it, but nowdays i will agree to disagree with you.

Even to this day, there are a lot of services, both new and old, that don’t implement social login correctly, so that’s why I heavily recommend an in-house login system if VD adds a build sharing feature.

Theres been talk about it being a ingame system instead of a steam workshop seeing as how they intend to make the game multi platform. Like Crossout’s vehicle exhibition system.
If such a system were to be made, there could be options to pick whether you give weapons along with the armor or vice versa.
