
Sound effects for hitting enemies are weak, as if you strike one hollow plastic toy with another.
Make sounds more meaty/visceral/smacky whatever the word is.

I guess it can be included in here… perhaps the slashing sound effects of beam blades can be differenciated from the default melee sound effects?


First thing I thought when I played the first mission, audio and sound effects needs a big overhaul.

( sorry for my language, i’m not a pro to speak in english but i will try to be understandable ^^ )
Just 2 days on this game, it’s a main problem for me too. Gameplay is cool but sound broke every good sensation.
I saw many post about “we don’t feel like our mecha are heavy” or some other things like that, and i think it come from sound effects, too high difference under step sound / thruster sounds / weapons sound.
He don’t specialy need big modifications but just some reworks.
Only one sound need to be modify completely for me is melee hit sound, like you said: like a basic combat game with normal humans or like you hit something in plastics.
