May we have a “Defend Payload” or “Defend Fort” mission? Instead of killing everything, would be nice if we have a more passive gameplay as well. These missions could be incorporated into Multiplayer in the future.

For example, there could be multiple spawnpoints for waves of beasts while defending a city. There would be a evacuation countdown timer as well as the degree of damage to the civilians or cities. Additionally, the spawns of mini bosses in different locations so that the multiplayer mode gets more intense as the players split up to confront bosses.

As for “Payload” mission, players could render support to AI units guiding payload and they are attacked.

The mechanics for this are already in one of the early game missions, too. I’d love to see more kinds of content like this in the future.

I too would love to see mission diversity, ive included similar ideas in #269 [Mass Raids] with the base defense or base attack scenarios with objectives for each side. Escort missions with additional AI Mass would be interesting to see.
