Armor Grading System#342

With Acceleration being affected by weight, and heavier armors reducing damage taken, its a pain to choose what part you want, and if you want it to be a designer build, or a functional build. While there have been attempts to improve this with reducing the effect armor has on the stats directly I feel that its probably easiest if there is a (selectable) feature that toggles this.

The way MB is being deisgned, and outlined is that the parts shouldnt control the function, so why not divorce them from it completely by introducing a scale of armor.

It can be as granular as the design team wishes. To be honest it has the possibility of working to the benefit of the art teams, to be able to build giant Space Hulks like the most recent Hammerfall Armor Set, while it being light as a feather, or parts like the Blitz Series which could be Heavier than Dark Matter! It gives the pilot (player) the most flexiblity in how their stats are adjusted, and tunes gameplay in such a way that allows the pilot to adjust the MASS to their play style, and their aestetic style as well.
