Hunting Grounds during Takeoff/Launch Sequence has animation Frame Lock bug#173

Issue: When a player selects the hunting grounds mission and confirms it, the player goes to the launch sequence screen. During that time, sometimes the player’s MASS unit will get frame lock stuck right as its towards the closest point on the camera before the screen goes black.

Expected: The launch goes through normally and fades to black, then to load screen in quick succession.

Repeatable?: Sometimes.

Workaround Available?: Yes. As soon as the Player’s MASS unit is showing on the screen just before it leans to launch, the player can skip it. On Keyboard, this is accomplished with the “Enter” key.

Basic Hardware Info:
Intel i5-4690
16GB RAM
AMD Radeon RX 580 8GB

Other: Since this didn’t happen on 0.1.x and only started happening on 0.2.x, I am assuming it has to do with something either in the engine or something with the changes to the MASS itself. The FPS itself doesn’t drop, the CPU itself doesn’t look like its spiking. If you give it enough time, it eventually will get to black screen. And give it enough time from there and it will eventually get to the loadomg screen, but depending on how bad the lock was will also determine about how long it will take to transition from Fade to Black to Load Screen. I’ve seen it as far as 3.5 minutes to get to loading screen. FPS runs fine once in.

Someone in the Steam forum said that happen if you minimize the game in any moment, I have the game in window full screen mode and I can say that happened to me when i minimize, maybe is just coincidence but happened to me at least always that I change the game window.

I’d love for that to be true, but I’m in Borderless Full Screen. The only thing I can think of there is if alt-tabbing and I don’t do that during the selection process

I could say that happen after you alt-tab in any moment of the game.
